Athens Girls State Soccer Champions 2013

ATHENS GIRLS 2013 STATE SOCCER CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to the team and to Coach J.B. Hutchison!

The No. 6-ranked Golden Eagles came out with a 1-0 win over No. 4 St. Paul’s Episcopal in the Class 5A finals, marking the first state soccer title for Athens High.

Athens goalkeeper Tiffani Dunaway finished with five saves in the championship game and was named Most Valuable Player.
